Julia Hoppstock

Julia Hoppstock is a carreer diplomat and official of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine
Republic (Directorate of Multilateral Economic Negotiations). She is
responsible for the negotiations on trade and environment in
multilateral fora, such as in the World Trade Organization and the
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, among others. She
is also a delegate of Argentina to the UN climate change negotiations,
where she is, since 2009, the coordinator for the Group of G77 and China
on economic and social consequences of response measures in the Ad-Hoc
Working Group on Long Term Cooperative Action. Moreover, she follows the
discussions on cooperative sectoral approaches and sector-specific
actions also in the context of the AWG-LCA of the Convention.
