Willemien
Viljoen holds a BComm Honours degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws degree
(LLB) from the University of Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
She has been a researcher at tralac since February 2009 with research interests
in trade data and modelling, regional integration and international trade
policy. She has been monitoring the recent developments of the climate change
negotiations and researching the impact of climate change on the economic
growth and development of African economies, focusing on the diffusion of
climate-friendly goods and services through international trade, investment and
aid for trade programmes.
